    Since making her 2011 London Fashion Week debut, Simone Rocha, one of the industry’s fastest rising stars and winner of emerging womenswear designer at the 2013 British Fashion Awards, has been impressively building a name for herself and her brand’s strong, modern, romantic aesthetic.

    J Brand x Simone Rocha marks our first collaboration with the London based designer and her first venture in denim. The 14-piece, shape and volume defined collection is comprised of 7 striking monochromatic silhouettes.

    Offered in various denim styles, including slim and boy-fit jeans, a jacket, dress and skirt, each piece is embellished with modern feminine ruffle details. The collection combines both the Simone Rocha aesthetic with J Brand’s denim expertise.

    Simone Rocha was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1986. In 2008, she graduated with a BA in Fashion from The National College of Art and Design in Dublin, continuing in 2010 to graduate from the acclaimed Fashion MA at Central Saint Martin's College, London. Simone debuted at London Fashion Week in September 2010.

Each piece offers upscale elements from rich leather accents and dark, saturated denim to refined phantom pockets and contemporary patchwork.     Glaswegian-born Christopher Kane’s designs creatively fuse fabric, colour and print.

    Christopher first came to the attention of the fashion world, on delivering an award-winning graduate collection at Central Saint Martins in March of 2006. His first independent show followed in September of that year in London and was internationally lauded by the press and buyers. Christopher Kane, the label, has since become a highlight of the London Fashion Week schedule and Christopher, working in tandem with his sister Tammy (collaborator and business partner), has now shown for 14 seasons and become a major player within the industry.

    Donatella Versace first spotted Christopher Kane’s talents at his graduation show, and offered him a consultancy role for Versace that very same year. Following this, he has since taken up the design lead on the Versus label for which he has just shown his fourth women’s wear collection in Milan, for FW11.

    In May 2009, Christopher launched a line of T-shirts featuring a monkey print which rose to icon status. He launched his first resort collection in November 2010 which incorporated galaxy prints into a range of separates and t-shirts which included menswear for the first time.

    In March 2011 Christopher Kane and premium denim label J Brand announced a joint venture to produce a capsule collection together to launch for Resort 2011/12.

    Christopher Kane has received several industry accolades in recent years for his achievements in design including; Young Designer of the Year at the Scottish Fashion Awards in 2006, New Designer of the Year 2007 and Best Collection 2009 at the British Fashion Awards, British Designer of the Year 2011 at the Elle Style Awards and the highly acclaimed Vogue/British Fashion Council Fashion Fund 2011, which was judged by industry professionals and supporters of the fund including Alexandra Shulman and Samantha Cameron.

    The Christopher Kane label is a key contributor to seasonal trends, demonstrating a contemporary, progressive vision currently unrivalled on the high-fashion circuit.
